Day 15 God's Favor
There are times in our lives when we don't understand why we are being attacked when we are doing the right thing. God honors and blesses those that serve Him faithfully. When God blesses us because of our obedience some people see it as unfair or that He loves us more. People that see God's blessings that way are usually jealous. In their jealousy they attack us. They don't know how to deal with it any other way. David had God's favor in many ways. In fact he had so much favor that the king felt threatened by him. The king even tried numerous times to kill David. Even though David was being attacked he did not chose to attack back. Because David chose not to attack back God sent people to help him out of some pretty close calls. We have to be careful not to attack back when we are being attacked. As God pours out His favor we have to be careful not to become prideful in the favor. Just because we have God's favor on our lives does not mean that we can rub it in others faces. We need to be an encouragement to others to seek his face. God's favor is free for anyone they just have to be willing to tap into it. Today lets make it a point to honor God in all we do even when others may be coming against us.
