White as snow!
As I look out the window I see pretty white snow and I'm reminded of the scripture in Psalm 51:7
"7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me and I will be whiter than snow." It goes on to say in verse 10: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
Praise God He cleans us up and washes us to be white as snow!! White often represents purity. It can also represent a "clean slate." This is exciting to me because there are some things I've done and said that I'd like to have a clean slate on in my life. We would never be able to stand before a holy God if we weren't completely clean and pure. But He has made the way for us to stand before Him unashamed. We can now "approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need" (Heb. 4:16) Let us now walk in that freedom He has given us. And remember today as you see the snow around you that God has made you clean - free from sin and free to live for Him!
