Faith or Fear?

I had this thought the other I in faith or am I in fear?   With all the tragedy that has taken place over the last 72hours, it's got me thinking.  What can I do to stay in faith and not let fear take over. You see, if we allow satan to have the upper hand we can quickly be swept away in fear and confusion. God is not the author of fear. Paul tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but God has given us a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind.  (2 Tim. 1:7) So if we are moved by our emotions and not having a sound mind then maybe we should re-evaluate wether we have faith or fear.  Fear is led by our emotions, yet  Faith is not moved. Fear comes from satan, but faith is rooted in God. Fear looks down while faith looks up. In fear there's despair, but in faith there's hope and a future. If we get our eyes off of our selves and look beyond the current situations, God will begin to open our eyes to a much brighter future. In God, we can have hope and the assurance of a better tomorrow. Just because you're down right now doesn't mean you can't get  up and start again. Start looking to God who is the Author and Finisher of our faith. That's where true answers begin. That's where hope is born.
